The Post Graduate (P.G) Association of Zamorin's Guruvayurappan College, Kozhikode conducts International film festival at their campus 29th, 30th and 31st October 2014. The Zamorin's Guruvayurappan College is a private college in Kozhikode, Kerala offering graduation and post-graduation courses. It is affiliated to the University of Calicut. KSEB consumers should be paid their electricity bill within 10 days after the spot billing date. The last date for electricity bill payment of many consumers are same, almost all consumers paying their bills on last day, results long queues at all electricity Section Office counters on that day. Many states in India provide online Electricity bill payments for their consumers, Government of Kerala also introduced kseb bill online payment services in July 2011 for HT consumers. But for large number of Low Tension (LT) consumers are availed the online payment of Electricity bills in Kerala after 2 years. The online KSEB bill payment for the Low Tension (LT) consumers were officially launched by Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and State Electricity Minister Mr. Aryadan Mohammed on 23rd April 2013.

Now you can pay your Electricity bill online very easily using kseb portal, www.kseb.in. You can pay your Electricity bill online 2 days after the spot billing date. And online payment of KSEB Bills should be made 2 days before the Disconnection date. Before starting the KSEB online payment keep your latest Electricity Bill near by. You should know your Electrical section code, Consumer number and latest bill number for starting KSEB bill online payment. You can find the Electrical section code, Consumer number and bill number from your latest bill, as shown in fig.

If you don't have your latest bill, you can download / view your latest bill from the official portal, http://kseb.in by clicking on "View LT bill" tab. You need to know your Electrical section code / section name and Consumer number for downloading your latest electricity bill

How to pay KSEB bill online

  • Open the online payment gateway using http://pg.kseb.in/ui/qpay.php directly or http://kseb.in and then click on "Quick pay" then select your Electrical section, now you can see the following window

  • Insert your Consumer Number, Latest Bill number, your email id and mobile number, then click on "Proceed to Pay Bill" button
  • In the case of the Central Server Sections, number of Pending Regular Energy Bills and the total amount due will be shown. For other sections, the last Regular Energy Bill will be shown.
  • Select the payment mode of transaction - Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card, etc.
  • The total bill amount to be paid along with Surcharge applicable (if any) and applicable transaction charges will be shown. Transaction charges vary with the mode of payments. The transaction charges of different payment modes are shown below, and select the cheapest method. There is no service / transaction charges using Direct NetBanking service of South Indian Bank, Federal Bank and Canara Bank customers for the online payment of KSEB bill online payment.
  • Click Confirm Payment.
  • Finally, a confirmation window with the final amount will be shown, Click "Make Payment". The online KSEB bill payment through the Netbanking, Credit Card or Debit Card use the payment gateway site which offers secure payment facility.
  • Consumer will be carried to Payment Gateway Site. Make secure payment.
  • Once the online payment is completed, the transaction details will be displayed. You can take printout of the same. Your online payment for KSEB bill is now completed, details will also get in to your email and mobile numbers.
  • In case of any interruption during the online payment and the amount is debited from bank account but the transaction details are not generated online, either KSEB will generate transaction details within 48 hours or refund the debit amount to the Bank.

Transaction charges for online KSEB bill payment

  • Netbanking - Rs. 3.20 + Service Tax Rs.0.40 = Rs. 3.60
  • Debit Card - 0.70% of bill amount + Service Tax 0.08% = 0.78% of bill amount
  • Credit Card - 0.90% of bill amount + Service Tax 0.11% = 1.01% of bill amount
  • Direct NetBanking for South Indian Bank / Canara Bank / Federal Bank account holders - No transaction charges
